The Pinnacles Desert is a little over 2 hours drive north of Perth City. It is a unique and baffling landscape which offers an amazing backdrop for photography of friends and family or simply an incredibly unusual, other-world desert experience. You will come away with more questions than answers…

• Entry to the Pinnacles Dessert is INCLUDED in the tour price.

The Desert Discovery Centre located in the park also offers information about the curious origins of the unique landscape, the flora & fauna and offers many very cool Souvenir options.

While the Pinnacles Desert is the focus of this tour – a number of OPTIONAL inclusions either on the way to the Desert or on the return journey can add to your tour.

** My preferred route to the Pinnacles desert takes us through a number of stops along the way which Ive chosen for their local interest, historic unusual backstories and natural focus. These include Yanchep beach & Lagoon, the quirky seaside town of Two Rocks and stops along the way which focus on the landscape of the coastal area. All these stops give local information about the area.

ALTERNATIVELY, the following options are available:

New Norcia: (Optional)

If you’re looking for a little history and culture thrown into the day, a very interesting OPTION is to include the unique Monastic town of New Norcia. There is a fascinating museum of history which is well worth a look and an impressive art gallery.

** PLEASE NOTE : I do not include the New Norcia Walking tour in this tour. Travel time and the walking tour start times leave no time to include lunch and the Pinnacles desert. Please contact me to discuss the New Norcia option if you have any questions.

Lancelin Sand Dunes: (Optional)

Alternatively, if you’re looking to burn off a little energy, the Lancelin Sand Dunes offer sand boarding and quad bike (ATV) hire. These can be hired either in advance or on the day at the dunes at your cost. ** Keep in mind this option can take up to an hour each for ATV & Sand boards.

LUNCH AT THE LOBSTER SHACK in Cervantes is the preferred stop. While the majority of the menu is broadly seafood focused, there are vegetarian and non seafood options.

This tour generally commences no later than 8.30am from Perth City and is a private Tour available to a maximum of 10 people only. No one else will be in the tour but you & your group or solo booking. Departures from Fremantle start no later than 8am.

** Lunch & Entry to Sand Dune board hire and New Norcia Museum is not included in the tour price
